Just remember, if we don't help NBP, if they ever decided to close the Tank, we shouldn't expect the guys and gals who "use" to fish NBP to help us.

Beleive me folks we all must help each other about 2 years ago in my town of Stamford they tried to ban casting from the shore and pier thinking it two dangerous because one person who had the police chief ear it even my the front page of are local paper. I also when you lose something like that it make fishinng tough.

Shaggy, thanks for mentioning Naidia, I'd forgotten her name. Yea, I'd hate to see anything happen to the Tank like is happening over in North Beach. These places aren't just a place to go fishing but a place to meet each other and chew the fat for a while. I've never fished NB but was planning on making a trip or two this summer not just to fish but also to meet some guys like Hat80. Heck, fishing is only part of the fun. Looking forward to fishing with you again. I'd like to hook up with you at AI this fall and pick your brain for some surf fishing info. See you later.

I was at SPSP on Friday night and the Ranger told me that next month, they will only be open during normal daylight hours. His explaination was that the fishermen were all drunks and trouble makers. This seems to be spreading...

Are you sure you meant Sandy Point State Park? Just talked to the rangers (410-974-2149) and they said they have no intention on closing the park 24/7 until mid-September.
