One thread to make you drool and this one to provide a solid block of casting instruction.

Dumb idea. Especially with 100lb braid. It does not cut through water nor once you get a snag, you'll never recover it.

I don't know. That type of net should last a long time. I can see it getting snagged if you are tossing it in nasty lake water and catching stumps. Can't really see it getting snapped up to much on a sandy beach. I'm sure it would work well in some situations, and not so well in others. Just have to know where you are chunking that thing. Besides, even at 100 lbs test, it's not rip proof. I myself would have used 40 or so lbs of test, but that's just me.
