I just moved from va beach to Ocean View, and was wondering if it is worth fishing the surf here, or just make the long drive to BBNR(my favorite place)???

I drive all the way down there almost every weekend to fish in the summer, plenty of fish along the bridge, closed the season with a 35inch striper last year. The few times I've had to pull my kayak in and fish from shore I've been able to pull up a few as well.

It's still early, but yes. I like west best but walkabout is nice. Lot's of structure. Read the beach.
