Good morning folks! I'm heading to Durant Station at Hatteras the last week of November. Wondering if it's worthwhile to bring a heaver and drum rigs that time of year or just a couple smaller rods and just use shrimp/spoons? Never been down there this late so not sure what runs that time of year. Don't have a 4x4 so I'll only be fishing from the surf right by the condos.
Appreciate any advice you guys have as always!

It’s always worth soaking some bait at that time of year. Big drum are still around. Definitely bring the heaver and a couple of smaller rods to catch bait such as spot, small bluefish cut up into chunks and especially sea mullet heads. Use bluefish heads as well as the chunks. Good luck!
