Heading to Hatteras Tuesday and staying at Hatteras Sands Campground. Will be down for two weeks. Driving a silver 2500HD with a fishing cart with orange tires in the back hitch. Will be hitting the beaches on Hatteras and Ocracoke. If you see me stop and say hi. Ted

Update: No finger mullet around probably because the storm so Yesterday I purchased a large mullet and some shrimp and got it cut up and salted down after I had set up the camper. So this evening I hit the beach. I saw one puppy drum caught and I caught one 20". Not much else to report but 79 degrees and blue sky's. Oh and my wife found this Sharks tooth while shelling.

Caught several nice mullet with cast net this morning for cut bait. Hit the beach this afternoon. A few undersized flounder and small Drum. Finally caught this 26 3/4" about 4:00 this evening. Beautiful weather cold beers and good times.

Took the day off yesterday from fishing due to the high winds. Caught some finger mullet and fished 48 & 49 today. Not a whole lot of action. Blues, skates and more under size flounder. No Drum but tomorrow's another day.

After catching some fresh mullet yesterday I headed to Ocracoke today. One undersized pup caught and a few Virginia mullet. Did see one Drum caught above me. I know it was over the limit. Looked to be about 35 or larger. Was hoping they would put it back but nope. They packed up and headed off the beach. Oh well, I stayed a few more hours and fed lots of crab. Beautiful day.
