Got back down for a month week ago. Have fished HBSP several times. Been early in the am as soon as they open the gate. North side toward the getty. Not a lot but something each day. One nice size red. Just under the slot but nice and big. Several small whitings and one 3 1/2 ft shark. Several very hard bites in the suds I missed. I think my hook on that reel got rusty so i change it out. Small short open face right in the suds. Thats what i caught the red on. Back to working on the house this week so probably wont get back down until later in the week. Keep fishing.....

I'm headed to the South Jetty at HBSP early tomorrow AM (Saturday) to see if some finger mullet will stir up anything interesting , if anyone cares to join the fun......
