Fished surf from 10-2 today. Started with a few good whiting, then the monster blues showed up. Biggest was about 15 inches. Few small black tips as well. Got enough cut bait to last a while.

So has anybody been out to the end of the South Jetty to jig for Spanish Macs yet?

I was at the south jetty on the 22nd throwing a variety of metals (both skinny and deep), plugs, swimmers and plastics all over the jetty. Got a half dozen small (14") blues but nothing else
