Looked at the weather again this morning to see what my fishing forecast says my chances are - heavy surf advisory, seas 4-5 feet, water inside Lynnhaven looks dirty from all the rainwater runnoff. I feel pretty landlocked.

Time to work on tackle and get ready for the striper bite!!

Lou I was considering fishing Lynnhaven tomorrow to try and scare up some pups or specks. I guess I'll need to drag the cast net along and fish live bait if the water is still that dirty. I'll post if I go. Thanks for the info.

LOL....you can say that again. The wind is really strong here. I'm suprised to not have seen any of those dudes with the big kites pulling them around on the surf boards.

Went to Crab Creek on Thursday morning fished bucktails and plastics till noon , nothing. The cast net guys were not getting anything. The water was pretty stirred up.
