sorry i'm a little bit late on the report, but better late than never. went to the far side of the bridge and tried for the first time the public fishing area at the bottom. not a thing biting. did manage to snag something about 20 yards out several times. i have power pro line, so my line wouldn't snap. whatever i hooked up on would move a foot or two but thats it. was it some sort of underwater cable??
well after getting skunked there, headed over to beaver dam. i'm not too much of a freshwater man, so i just threw 2 ounces of lead into the middle of the lake with a minnow. managed to catch 2 turtles and my first catfish. weighed in at 2.5 lbs and fought great!
