I went to Clydes today. Their bloodworms were tiny.

Im very disappointed in them. They are usually good but they sucked today. Their minnows are always good. I got a 1/2 pint. Caught some crappie and pikeral with them. Bloods were only catching redears.

3 BW from ALL ABOUT BAIT was about the size of the dozen I got from Clydes or Anglers.

Bloods come Maine & maybe this time of yr they run small. Just a thought. .
Not a thought Catman...that's a fact!

Hueski,

Was at All About Bait in G.B. to get my GIANT bloods yesterday.......he had 6 left. They were NOT that great lookin either. 13 bucks for 6...took em anyway. He was out of regular BW's.
Guess that recent Noreaster up in Maine might of had something to do with it.... maybe.

He's got fresh Alewife now?? I know Strangler's always has fresh...usually.

Well they should not charge customers for 2 inch bloodworms and count it as one. They should add a few more from another pack if they are that small. My hooks were thicker than those worm. I went to All About when they had a full batch. Each one was over 14 inches. They were running low and a bit smaller when I went there again. I guess you got the leftovers. Things might change by the time you are ready to buy them.

Pasadena has 2 bait shops.
FishBones is on the way to Downs Park
Cobe Marine is on the way to Ft Smallwood.

The Wal-Mart's (Quarterfield Glen Burnie or Richie Hwy Pasadena) should be getting them soon. I haven't seen them yet. They are pretty decent if it's a fresh shipment.

I checked the price of blood worms yesterday at U-5 Foods in Federalsburg MD. yesterday. They were $ 12.00 a Doz. Is that good? I don't know anything about buying blood worms. I never use them.
$12-13 seems to be the going rate this spring. It ain't good but it seems to be what they are selling for. Blame it on Canada. It's all their fault.
