Ate at Prossers for an early lunch then headed out fishing. Got a 17" red drum right off the bat, then fought through small whiting, short black drum, and puffers. Before dark got a nice slot black drum and had a good run of puffers to round out the eaters.
No keeper whiting. Bunch of small black drum. Green shrimp Fishbites and fresh shrimp. Back at it tomorrow.

Sounds like you're doing pretty good down there buddy. If they slow up on the shrimp fishbites, switch to sand flea and or bloodworm fishbites. I did that when I was down there a few weeks ago and they (whiting, black drum, spot, etc) would start back biting. Red Fish caught only on mullet.

Everything is excellent. I usually go for the fried flounder.
