Stopped by Bishops on 17 today an they have frogs from 4-12oz.Only place on th pen I've seen so far.

fishwagon,IMHO th sputnik should only be used as a anchor rod lead. Ifn ya fishn around others it should roll some. Th toungues hold from what I seen an ifn they don't its prolly too snotty ta fish. ;)

PA Dist. should have them today-Spoke w/ Anthony yesterday,and he says he should have a shipment of tongues.

Cdog not with the family issues, Im need to get the wife and son to head north.
Fishwagon the sputnik holds better and with lighter weights. I would not use them for pin rigging. For that I use a sinker made out of conduit(filled with lead) and wire.
Remember a 5oz sinker will fly further than a 8oz sinker.
Frogs Toungues hold very well. They have been a local sinker (for the most part) for Hatteras Island. When fishing the point they slide along the bottom and since they have the famous Conga line there at times you want to match equipment so you drift at the same speed.
By the way I keep a tackle box in the truck with lead in it of different types for different shapes since they behave differently.
