i was wondering if their are any good size flounder and specks in lynnhaven inlet or broad bay passage. if their is what are they hittting.:barf: :jawdrop:
don't know about va beach area, just got back from fishing pier in myrtle beach and had great time with flounder (12" size limit there), puppy drum to 5 lbs. and trout. best flounder was 5 1/2 lbs, caught many in the 14 - 20" range. limit is 20 per day.
one the the guys with me owns a house @ Cape Charles and has a 21" boat, remarked that he was able to keep more flounder off the pier in 3 days than he'd been able to keep all year in Va. H e was finally going to have enough for a real fish fry.
I have caught 2 flounder at Lynnhaven Pier the last 3 days, and have seen about 5 more caught.
Mine were a little short of the legal limit so they went back to the drink...but they were my first 2 and I was impressed with how hard they fight.
Good luck finding the big uns..
