I've fished Buckroe a couple times now, and used gulp on 1/4 oz jig head. I feel I'm not being patient enough, or that I'm fishing at wrong time. I'm fishing at night, during high tide. I've seen a flounder caught on this pier at night and during the day. Does it sound like I'm doing something wrong, or need to be more patient, bouncing under the pier? Thanks for any suggestions!!!
You could try a heavier jig head like 3/8 or 1/2 oz. or tie up a Skinner flounder rig as seen on You Tube. Maybe switch up from Gulp to a squid/minnow sammich. Hopefully jigging up and down the pier you will find them. Good luck.
