we did pretty well considering it was pretty cold on sat. finally found the ditch sat afternoon and was very surprised how small it was. i ran into brandon but never knew it until yesterday when he pm'd me. between mike and i we caught 24 puppy drum. none of them keepers. 17 and 17 1/2's. we saw at least 80 pulled out of there throughout the day. mike even caught one on its last breath. it looked like it went through the turbine. mangled and really hurting. it must have been real hungry. mike put it back and it took it a few mins to swim away. it was great to get into fish though. we checked out sandbridge, sandbridge pier, rudee inlet, lynhaven inlet and the james river. saw some nice places i want to hit this summer. you guys are real spoiled there. everything within 30 mins radius. it was a great trip and hope to do it again. thanks for all your help cdog. oh yeah didn't bring camera this time but next time when it is warmer definitely.
