Fix It

I'm looking for a place in the area(anywhere between Fairfax, Va. and Chesapeake Beach, Md.) that fixes reels. I'd also like to find someone or get some advice on how to extend the bottom of an Ugly Stick about a foot. Where to get the blank, how to cut it, how to glue it, and how to wrap the bottom with cork, etc... Thanks
