I never fished the Tank before thought about giving it a try tomorrow and SPSP. Which side should I park on, before I cross the river or after, coming from the bay bridge? Which side of the pier is better, towards the new bridge or the other? How far do I need to walk to reach good fish spots?

Do you need a net? How far above the water is the pier on average?

Well generally I believe the fishing on the cambridge side is better(side over the bridge) I have done well about 2/3rds of the way down to almost the end. You will need a pier net if you have a nice fish on. It is about 15 to 20 feet off of the water. Depending on the tides is which side you will fish on. Fish the way the tides are moving. I usually throw a pole out on each side to see where they are biting. Bring bloodworms to catch spot to liveline. Cut bait, chicken, and peelers have done ok with stripers and trout. Good luck. Let us know how you did.
