My sister's family is new to the Ft. Lee area. Can anybody tell me where they can take their teenage kids out fishing? Water doesn't seem to be as accessible as in the Hampton Roads area. Could be that they just don't know the area yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

City Point is a good area. Clean, accessible and fishing is pretty decent. It's a peninsula, so there are clear banks all around it.

there is a fishing pier right by the Wal-Mart in colonial heights that's only a few miles from Ft Lee its right behind the colonial heights animal shelter its literally 10 min from were your at. And also there is city point pier in Hopewell hope this helps.
