I am going down to chincoteague va this weekend to beach fish
I see the bird closure is in place
Does anyone have any info on the north side of the island for fishing?
I'm told there is a 1.5 mile fishing beach with a 13 car access

Call Capt Steve's Bait and Tackle. There on Madox ave in Chincoteage. Iv'e fished the pier on the Island, But I mostly fish A.I..

There is no car access for the north side of Chincoteague. You can park on one of the drive trails and walk onto the beach. Otherwise, park at the end of the beach road in the north most parking lot and start hiking north.
