Decided to take a last minute trip to Grays Run today. Spent a couple hours throwing a little spinner and tried the tube jig under the bobber technique. But unfortunately no luck. Did see a group of guys using minnows bringing in quite a few yellow perch. A few keepers in the mix. Would like to try it again later this week, maybe with some minnows.



Anyone know where to get minnows close by? Lol

Where is Grays Run?

I was there, as well. I caught 4 small yp, and watched some minnow anglers kick butt.
I did not see any big fish caught, but I only fished from about 4pm until dark.

Grays Run is on Pulaski Highway between Belcamp and Aberdeen.

Bowley's Bait and tackle had minnows as well as grass shrimp on Sunday.

I was there to about 5 so I might have seen you there just didn't know it. And I'm gonna try to get a hold of some minnows and try again on Thursday.

I had some luck on gulp alive one inch minnows on a 1/32 oz chartreuse jig head. The minnows
are natural colored. I went and got some of the same size in chartreuse to try. Now, I am just waiting
for the rain to pass by...
