according to the lynnheaven pier fb page the spot are on the move.
Reports of keeper specs and puppydrum as well.
The consistent NE blow has finally got them on the move out of the inlets.
Visual confirmation of a large BULL RED caught off the end of lynn pier as well. yes lynnheaven pier.:eek:

CBBT is out of control at the end of the pier. guys rollin out there with 4-5 rods in the water. clearly posted at the head of the pier is a 2 rod limit. last time i was there... 19 rods in the water with 5 people fishing. the reds will start heading south and you'll see them in the surf.

Big reds used to be not that uncommon on Lynnhaven. Go back to pre '06-07' we hammered them there and other than a few in the know, NO ONE was targeting them. Those big fish frequent the inlet and that pier is right on their way out... Used to get big rockfish out there every spring live baiting as well...
