What is the fishing like in early December in Buxton to Hatteras area provided the weather is good? What could a person expect to catch ? I would also expect the bait to be scarce.

December can be great .... Again totally dependent on conditions, one of my faverite months, the southern Sea mullet can show up, plenty of Pups and big drum, bluefish, black drum and I got into the only Flounder blitz I've ever been involved in, two weeks before Christmas 4 or 5 years ago when the limit was eight, caught the limit in a couple hrs, musta caught 60 just to get the limit ...... Plan on being there myself most of December ....... I just hope ramp 43/44 dryed up by then, you'll be able to access 49 beside Frisco Pier starting today .... Good luck

All of what he said,also heard there are some specks showing up so that could happen as well... Also,if you like to pull on something there should be some BIG sharks in the area as well...
