What knot do you guys use to make your loops? I've noticed lately that when I would hook a bigger fish on the grocery rods, that the leader would break at the first loop. The line is ragged like the loop slid down on itself and everything below would be lost. Double surgeons knot (I think) is what I'm using. Make a loop with a doubled piece of line, wrap the end through the loop twice and pull tight. 15-20lb Seguar RedLabel Fluor.

Personally I don't use dropper loops this is how I tie mine, I use 30# ande pink for my spot rigs etc take the line from your spool snell a hook figure out how long you want your bottom hook to be and tie a short two turn surgeons knot for your sinker, then go up your line figure out how far up you want your top hook to be and tie a 5 turn surgeons knot clip one leg and snell a hook, your final step is to clip about 6 to 8 inches off up from your top hook so you can either tie on a swivel or like me I tie my bottom rig directly to my main line on my spot rod, Ive caught 30 in pups on this rig with no issues.............geo
