I saw a newspaper ad the other day for Ollie's and noticed that they sold fishing gear. I never knew they sold fishing gear. I went and found that they have a lot of things at discounted prices lots of line and lures, pliers, knives, nets and other things. I ended up getting a couple of Bomber 15A lures for $2.99 a piece. I think they normally cost anywhere from $7.00 and up. Just a little info, hope it helps.

Just called my local ollies and they do have fishing stuff....never knew that. I checked out their online flyer and it looks like they have some great deals on soft plastics. Woman I talked to said they would be getting in more stock as summer approaches. Thanks a lot for the tip.....not that I need any more tackle, but a deal is a deal....ha!

Yea, I did see lots of soft plastics. I think different stores may have some different things. I went to the store in Norfolk by Janaf Shopping Center. I didn't need anymore tackle either, but you're right a deal is a deal!!!

It's a pretty cool discount chain. I think a lot of people dismiss it because they think it's filled with junk but I've bought some great coffee table sized military books and assorted stuff there for way below the listed retail price. Good deals on beef jerky too...haven't been there in a couple years. Sorry I missed the fishing section, could have saved myself some money. Thanks again for the heads up.

Sorta reminds me of "Big Lots"...back in the day.
I used to get lots of rods at Big Lots. They didn't offer a whole lot of
fishing stuff....but they had a decent amount of odds and ends.
And the prices were real good.
I haven't checked out Ollies yet. I'll have to do a ride by next time
HRT chauffeurs me around town.:D
