Planned on checking out the Jefferson pier for the fist time today, but the wind turned up about the time I could get out there and decided to scrap that idea and head to Denbigh since it has a little more cover from the blow. Got there at about 1:30 just before the 2 o'clock high tide, to a full pier, and fished until 2:30. 10 croakers all on fishbites bloodworm, bottom rigs, 10-13 inches. Bite turned off like a switch at 2:30 then ran down to Hilton pier to catch them on the way out, only stay for 30 minutes, the wind was whipping up pretty good and I didn't have a jacket but managed one horse about 18 inches, also on fishbites. Everyone else at both piers were steady pulling them in as well. At Hilton, the ticket seemed to be at the end of the pier as far out as you could cast. All in all, alot of fun on a light spinning outfit.
