[Got Fish?]

Hey guys. Fished the point at Oak island this morning without much luck. Looking to do some trout fishing up in the canal, but would love to know some spots with public access. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think a kayak would be the best for the canal, not to many areas to fish from shore... you can try Tidalways Park on Davis Canal – 3003 E. Oak Island Drive for the kayak launch area and 40th street crab dock and near the new bridge, but limited access without a canoe or yak, some nice flounder there too...
