fished just after high tide today 6-8pm
threw metal/spoons for a couple hours - ended up with two tailor sized bluefish; lost a couple more
water relatively clear - fair amount of bait in the water - the bluefish were chasing glass minnows near shore
some spanish mackerel jumping out in the distance
overall - a beautiful evening

didnt have any luck with my sandflea rake, kinda surprised me unless its the hard sand in the water. Thought they would be there. Beach seems pretty flat without much structure , not like the outer banks at all, just my opinion but yall do catch fish by past reports. Ill take the 13 ft rod and see whats farther out next time. water seemed dirty when I went.
