Fished this evening for a couple hours around high tide - started out with jig and gulp without luck switched over to a silver spoon - picked up a small blue pretty quick then had a nicer hit that took a little drag and ended up with the first Spanish of the year - had one other hit/shake-off that felt like a Spanish and that was it.
The spoon was a 3/4 ounce Tsunami Shockwave - the reason I mention it is usually I use a silver cast master same weight but they're over $5 dollars a piece at Walmart and these are a couple dollars cheaper are a little more elongated have tapered edges a reflective surface good action and still cast a mile - beautiful evening - blessing to be out there
