Had fun this morning. I meet two little kids that live near the lake. They came on their bikes with fishing rods. They were telling me all about how to catch the fish in the lake. Then they looked in my bucket and said, wow, you know how. I showed them how I was catching them, and they caught a few. Very nice kids. I ask them why are you not in school. They said we are home schooled. It is better then going to school. We can fish almost every day. Lake Photography Recreation Bank Vacation

That's cool Andy still teaching. So did the boys know how to catch crappie before you showed them?
It was funny. They were telling me all about the lake and how to catch them. Then they looked in my bucket and seen my crappie. Then they said what did you catch them with. I rigged them up and showed them the crappie were in deep water and hitting when the jig is falling. The older Brother got the hang of it. The little Brother didn't. Little Brother, I now call Windy because he don't stop talking knocked his Brother's rod off the pier in the water. I tried to retrieve it, but couldn't. I ask Dee, the older Brother if he does things like this a lot. LOL! He says, every day. I might see if I have a rod and reel for him and keep in truck until I see them again. To answer your question, yes they did know how to catch them, but were not doing good until I called them out were the crappie were. They had all the right crappie lures in a little box. They fish the lake with their Father in a boat. Cool Kids.
