Fishunter i think with all this rain it isn't gonna be a good year for crabs.
Plus with the extended winter we had it couldn't have helped.

Well I hope you are right. I know we had a debate earlier this year on it and a lot of people said it wouldn't be that good on past experience. I really don't know why so many people buy crabs when they can get a crab net and spend the day on the beach and pier with the kids and catch enough for a few meals.

I have heard that crabs are running now in Maryland and that the year has started better than usual, just wondering if anyone had any details, kinda craving some fresh hot ,steaming, local crabs with summer fast approaching.

They don't have the crab trucks set up along brach avenue yet? When you see those, you'll know the crabs are in.

Well I know the crab season has started in MD already. Well at least commercially cause if you look out from most piers you will see a zillion crab traps out and about. Man if they are going good think I will have to head to Pax Nas and scoop me up a bushell :D
