I see them once in a while on E-Bay... European "continental" surf rods (14'-15' long, spinning, moderate action, minimal handle hardware, huge gaudy graphics). I'm trying to find one in the $75-$150 range and not pay over $100 to have it imported, although maybe shipping a long package would cost just as much from somewhere in the U.S. Anyway, are there any U.S. tackle shops that carry them?

In that price range here in the US... Forget it
However The Vega Protenza 420 is going to he as close as you can get to a European Continental style rod here in the US and are for sale here in NC and VA but the price tag is four times what you're willing to spend
