Had a couple of hours, some bloodworms, and a fishing itch, so I hit the Potomac River at Colton's Point. It was over cast and spitting rain. first line in the water at 4:30. First blue catfish by 4:45. Small perch and rockfish kept the excitement high as the water was choppy with increasing winds. I was back n my car by 8pm. Amazing how time flies when you are having fun! Final tally was six blue cats up to four pound. five spot and 3 nice perch.
