I'm in town pursuing the same fish, but the water is just too cold. It's still in the upper 50s from the oceanfront to Avon.
The general rule of thumb I have used is that the cobes show up when you see the first lightning bugs; both are late this year. I imagine after our first cold snap (sure to occur the day after I leave town) they'll show up in force.
I was out on the Seagull today, but I caught nothing but skates and one blue.
