A thousand plus Cobia on a fish farm in Ecuador escaped its ocean pens are now roaming the pacific eastern shore. Cobia have now been spotted in Panama. It is only a matter of time when the fish enters Mexican waters then probably California coast. Whatever the case it will damage the eco system a quite a bit here. No known predators of cobia in the pacific except maybe sharks. But that only means I will be pulling out my heavers again for Cobia fishing.
