I have a question on chum. I know VA beach pier doesn’t allow it but what about other piers like Grandview, buckroe? Also is it good etiquette to throw a bucket over or do you need to ask the people around you if they mind?
i know grandview allows chum, i use it there all the time when fishing the end. they used to sell it at the shop there for a few bucks for a bucket. im pretty sure buckroe allows it also not 100% sure though. ive seen people using drip bags with menhaden oil but no chum.
Last year buckroe was a good pier for chumming up sharks at night and trying to lure in Mr.Brown durring the day. We welcome anyone that brings chum to seagul pier. Same recipe sharks at night and cobia in the heat of the day. I fish seagul because there are more chances for bigger fish and eye candy durring the day.
