Went out to the breakwaters in eov thursday night, right behind ships cabin. I had heard there were possibly some pups at night over there. Well it turned out to be a whole mess of bluefish. Just one after another with an occasional croaker. Seemed like a nice fishing spot during high tide, however i do have to say there was a lot of trash on the beach in that area. I filled half a plastic bag with crap from the beach where i was set up. ie lighters, food wrappers, socks......However there is good parking there.

Also headed out to chix last night (fri) 10-2am. Fished there with my friend who like to sharkn' but alas nothing but bluefish with an occasional croaker. Still they are a blast to catch untill you get one that shakes violently and you end up with not one but two fish scales in your eyeball:eek:. I didnt get them dug out till i got home at about 3 am. Funny thing is it didnt hut but for five minutes after it happened and then it was fine till i got home, then the pain started. And let me just add it is so hard to dig something out of your eyeball when everything is covered in sand and all of your towels/rags are covered in fish guts.:p Also pulled in a small monk fish or stargazer.

Squid was what i had and it was what they wanted, cut blue worked ok.

There was also a sea turtle on the beach by the cbbt unfortunalty it had apparently been stuck by a boat and killed. My friend who has a few strange lizards, turltes and snakes was thinking about cutting the head off so he could have the skull. I advised him against it thinking that it is illegal to mess with one even after it is dead. Im also going to guess you cant even bury them?? Needless to say it smelled horrid no wait putrid, no vile........Took some pics to share with you while you have your lunch:D

i had to smell this last night while i fished.
