Fished both nights 7 - 9PM incoming tide. Wednesday started on the east side of the bridge caught nothing. Moved to the west side, caught 5 good size spot, one croak, and 2or 3 small black drum ( throw backs) before the bite shutdown.
Returned Thursday night started off on the west side then moved east side of the bridge. Caught a small ray.
While I was gathering my stuff up, a couple of guys in a flatbottom john boat happened by. Seems they had a net set 50 to 75 yards off shore, that ran about 500 yards . The west end of the net was tied to the bridge. Once they retrieved the net and started back east the boat sunk, and washed everything to shore. One of the guys on the beach opened they're cooler and the had thirty or so spot (good size) a couple of croaks, a stargaser, and a striper about 20 inches long.

Have a Great Day,T

Please tell me the net wash up!

I lose enough to snags there, all that place needs is another 500 yards of snags on the bottom!:jawdrop:
