[Shoeless]

Fished from about 8:30 - 11:15 with limited success. Landed one short striper and saw a few bluefish and other shorts. There was also a flounder caught and released. Water is still warmer than the air temp, so getting wet is not so bad. Also met a couple of board members out there. Nice to finally meet you, Chest2Head.

There were also greys caught out there too. Not to mention the debris and the line/lures that were reeled in by the guy next to you.

The water temps are still in the upper 60's but I did hear some "grunts/yells" when those bigger waves came in.

Hopefully this NE/E wind this week will bring them closer.

Where is Chicks Beach?

I'm staying at a hotel on Shore Drive outside NAB Gate 5. How about some directions there? I'll probably be out tomorrow night to do some lure fishing for stripers.
