184 spot and 1 large kingfish caught between 2 people . I caught the kingfish. I tried for blues at 1st I caught 3 spot before we left dock (cut bait) not a bite after 30min but spot were biting fast so I switched. Captain stayed at 1st stop until 11a. I tried for strictly blues again but after 30min decided top and bottom rig 1hook spot other blues. Still no blues I saw lots of throwback striper caught a few small weakie and 1 small black drum. Day was exciting. Oh BTW i used wiggler or jumping jack worms with small fb . My friend baught real bloodworms with fb bw tip. I out fished him and most people on the boat. Not bragging just pointing out ways to make fishing cheaper. Heading back tomorrow with dad and 2 of my daughters God willing will keep yal posted

WOW, that's a lot of spot. How many did you take home to clean? What % of the spot were 10">. I'm assuming you were out with Capt. Price again. Not that you need it but good luck tomorrow with your girls & dad. :fishing:

Brung home 143. My friend has huge family many mouths to feed so gave him most of them. I'm sitting at home with 1 daughter waiting on dad and other daughter. And I wasn't on Capt price I was on Shirleybii

If the boats are docked next to the bridge on the south side, I use to catch some pretty good fish off that dock before the head boats were there. Use to be a good place for breakfast there. I think it was called Anglers Restaurant. It is pretty good fishing in cold weather. WOW 143 spot. I would have a hard time giving that many away. LOL! JK Was there many people on the boat?

So here we go youngest daughter caught 48 spot 1 legal striper 1 legal weakie and many throwback stripers and weakies. Oldest daughter 39 spots and many throwback weakies and stripers. Dad caught over 100 spots and throwback weakies and stripers. Me over 100 spot 1 legal weakie many throwback weakies and stripers. Daughters didn't even fish the whole time they got tired from catching so many

Also ystrdy boat was totally full with many people who didn't know how to boat fish many tangles in certain sections not mines. Today boat was just over half full lots of room

Boat was shirleybii Capt wright his son has a boat off da hook they seem to work as a team finding fish they were always close to each other

Andy me and dad definitely had a proud moment watching my daughters catch fish like they did this before. This was my youngest daughter's 1st boat trip my oldest her 3rd but those were seabass trips when the whole boat really didn't catch fish

$60 for 8hr trip is the cheapest you will find Capt said probably 3rd of October will be his last runs
