Seems another delay. Now the project has added 2 years for an estimated 2024 completion. I was reading that there is an issue with the "formidable granite boulders" that were put in place back in the 60"s.

I feel like we are never going to get the 1st island pier back! Bad enough, they closed Lynnhave pier too, just hard to catch a fish around here without a boat.

Seems plans are moving right along for Westminster Canterbury to build a 22 story building on the old Lynnhaven Pier site. Let me correct myself....it's going to be a "beachside resort" according to reports.
