Heading out there Monday, I've read fishing reports, but know how info can be false at times. Anyone been out there yet, did you catch any keepers of trout or flounder? Thnx!!

According to their FB page from a week ago they were catching mullet, small croakers and occasional gray trout.

I've heard that early in the season, the best fishing there is done by night.

Update: fished outgoing 9:30-12:30, crabs took every bait thrown( even crab)! Caught 1 baby mullet, also.

When crabs are on the warpath I raise the bait one or two cranks. Helps a bit with the crab bite and gets you into different species.

Fished 7:45 pm to 12:30 am, outgoing to incoming. Caught 11 nice croakers, bout 20 dinks. 1 solid mullet, and 12 10- 12 inch grey trout when lights were on for an hour, using jigs. Got several hits under pier with gulp , at start, couldn't set hook. All and all, best trip in a long time! Thank you all, for advice and reports!
