At Buckroe on July 3rd from 2 - 7 PM and from 7 AM - 4 PM on July 4th. Spot bite was good both days but nothing too big. A few guys caught their limit of spot but others probably put at least two dozen in the color (including me). They were hitting on bloodworms, bloodworm fishbites, and lug worms on your standard dropper loop rigs on 1/0 circle hooks, though I wish I had smaller hooks to get more consistent hook ups. Caught some roundheads, a massive ray, and a bluefish when jigging for some Spanish Mackerel. Some folks at the end of the pier caught eight spadefish during their time. Might go back tomorrow morning before the long drive home to DC.
