Plenty of blues to be had on Thursday and Friday, both evenings we were broke off by sharks numerous times after dark.
After the front moved through Friday evening and the wind and surf kicked up a little bit we were able to land a couple drum. This one was caught right after high tide on Saturday afternoon, 43".
Saw 5 landed Saturday, two on the rising tide and 3 after.
Saw numerous short flounder being caught and had no problem catching whiting on the bait rod with a two hook bottom rig. This fish was caught on a chunk of fresh whiting.
Plenty of bait and birds working in the surf. Coffee colored in spots but green water would move in depending on winds.
If the winds switch to NE this week, like expected, the drum bite should really take off with all the bait in the water. Wish I could be there but have to work.
Hope this report helps.
Happy fishing!
