Took the skiff to Broad Creek in DE today with my 2 boys for the white perch everyone was catching last week Never got on the whites but found the motherload of yellow perch. Quite a few were 13" and 1lb 5oz. Never been into so many big yellow perch. Stopped by A&K Tackle to get citations for the boys but they were closed. Caught a few on bloodworms but mostly minnows on jigs and top/bottom rigs. They were all prespawn but close. I always thought the yellow perch run came before the whites. I guess not all the time. My buddy caught and released a rock in the 24" range on a 5' ultralight, never even took the fish out of the water. Awesome to fish in November in short sleeves.

Andy we had friends at the spillway that did not get them but maybe in a day or two. I'd try Bethel Hole too. Last week they were loading up on white perch at the Ed Koch area where the light house used to be.

Thanks Aaron, I think I better stay were I am catching fish for now. I have a question, might be a dumb question, but it has been bothering me. Do you think I might be posting too much with fish reports and pictures. I really enjoy posting fish pictures. Fishing is all I do. The reason I ask is, I have been posting a lot with pictures. Maybe people on this site get tired/bored of seeing my post. I use to get a few replies to my post. Can you tell I'm a little paranoid. LOL! Nice fish Aaron.

Do I think you post too much? Not at all. Be pretty boring without those posts all winter long. Not all of us can go like you can, so its nice to see activity. I've been twice this year and have posted both trips. You are not too far South of me so I know I need to come explore in your area. My oldest just moved from cub scouts to boy scouts and is camping at Camp Henson later this month. I'll pick him up early Sunday morning so maybe we will spend that day on your river. Any ramp permits required there? I'd want to put in at your end and not at Cherry Beach.

No one likes posts without pictures. Glad to see they are easy to attach.
