I want to get some more distance with my Daiwa Saltist 30H and Daiwa 30SHA.

I currently use 17lb Sufix Tritanium Plus, but I'm thinking about switching to Power Pro to get some extra distance.

I was wondering if anybody has any positive or negative experiences from using Power Pro or any braided line on these two reels?

Please let us know if you try it. I just got a 30H myself and have always used mono on all of my reels. I have Sufix Seige on one and it has almost zero memory, casts great and is Very strong. But having never tried power pro I can't make a comparison

NEGATIVE!!! pp sucks IMO.

awhile ago i had a review casting the Fireline Braid here on p&s
on an abu 6500 CT. its a good read. go search for it.

i recommend the new fireline braid over all the US made braids.

for a 30, use 50# or 60# as its about the same thickness of 17-20# mono.
