I'm looking for some internet sites that might provide good illustrations/information for tying bottom rigs (how to tie the knots, what to use as far as line, hooks, swivels, weight, etc). Any help would be appreciated!

ropiv,

Or you could harkin' back to pre-internet days and pick up a copy of "Practicle Fishing Knots II", Mark Sosin and Lefty Kreh, Lyons and Burford Publishers, circa 1991.

I'd bet you can find a copy via the internet at Amazon, eBay, or even a used book site like http://www.abebooks.com/

I myself, more often then knot, find myself cinching down "old reliable" - a double improved clinch ;)

Good fishing and great knots,

The Bucket recommends the "Practical Fishing Knots". That is a good book on knots and rigging and highly recommend it.

Sosin's book is great. But we have a knot guide right here. Just click on How To on the left. remember each region varies their riggs to their situation.
