After seeing the fishing report and the windcast for the day decided to head south before the surf was blown out .
Headed to Bonsteel Park .

Arrived about 7 AM and fished the incoming tide till about 11 . Used fresh Claims . My first cast got a Pomp but was under the new legal size of 11 inches . Had a few other hook ups with them and ended up with 2 at 13 inches . No Whiting or Blues to be had . Water was very clean and bait fish all around in the surf along with the birds but no hook ups with the hopkins after several casts into the bait fish . Bite was off so I headed on home . At least got the targetted specie for fridays outting and also a little feesh for dinner .:p
