It was a great day on the pier, water temp was getting close to 60 and the fish were very active.

Morning saw lots of Virginia Mullet, multiple people filled coolers.

During the day saw a good dogfish bite. I had never seen so many being pulled over the edge. The puffers were starting to slow down but the skates were taking over for the puffers and were very heavy until sunset.

The Virginia mullet returned after sunset and I filled my cooler then.

The bite is on and this is one of the piers remaining open during this COVID-19 outbreak.

Practice social distancing and go fishing on the pier. It's really starting to heat up.
