I was interested in picking up a boat rod that was going to be a good all around rod. I narrowed it down to the Daiwa sealine-xb 701mhr and the Tsunami TSTBC-701mh. I almost bought a daiwa eliminator boat rod on ebay but decided to wait till I could try the rods out.I was lucky enough to be able to hold both the sealine and tsunami rod and check the feel and how they felt with weight against the tip. The differences between the two were dramatic. There was a weight difference between the two with the sealine seaming lighter, but the feel between the two was greatly different. The sealine didn't spread the load out over the rod with the tip section bearing much more of the weight, and the tsunami bent over the entire rod. Since there were both the same price, I bought the Tsunami. Well that's my two cents.
