I got a 123lb bluefin and a 38 lb wahoo on the Rigged Up on Sunday. Dance!

purty werk... we were 10 miles from where the "bite" was...were in the 600's...but heard the fish were in a little more warmer water?... not a boat head.....but got word this morning.
did hook and play with a 40lbs yellow fin....but leader broake at the boat.... 123lbs...wow!!!!!

I lost my bearings a bit during the day, but we headed way south before turning east. We could see Avon after 30 minutes or so. It was a two hour ride. It seemed like we were going northward when the bluefins blitzed us.
I got the wahoo first thing in the AM, then basically we would get two yellowfin to hit at the same time about once every hour and 20 minutes. It was back to my turn in the chair around 1:30 and the Captain yelled "WE ARE GOING TO GET HIT." We had 5 rigs go off and only three chairs, so two of the guys had to hold on standing up until I could get mine in. Luckily, I had the 130lb gear or I may not have made it. The other guys got theirs on 80lb gear, so I bet they are hurting today. While we were reeling, other bluefin were blowing up everywhere behind the boat. The Captain pulled in the rest of the rigs or we could have had all 8 rods hooked up, then we really would have had a mess!
